The finest food from the region
With a large selection of local products, our chef Thomas and his team prepare the finest creations of Austrian and international cuisine in our in-house restaurant in the center of Reutte in Tyrol. Our kitchen puts special emphasis on regionality and seasonality. For example, in spring we offer the finest asparagus dishes, in summer we offer light fare and in autumn everything from the local forests is on our menu!
The restaurant has earned a special reputation for its diverse steaks. From well-seasoned domestic beef to U.S. tenderloin, there is plenty of variety. The highlight are the annual steak weeks in the fall when the menu is expanded with some "special cuts".

It is a classic inn menu that is presented to guests at the Mohren. "Solid classic," one is inclined to think, lowering expectations a notch. What a mistake. Yes, the dishes are classics and yes, it is Wirtshaus cuisine. However, it is at its best and can hardly be bettered. The Tiroler Gröstl, simple as the dish may be, is an ornament of its kind. The saddle of chamois (well, you don't necessarily get that in every inn now) is a dream. Likewise the Außerferner Käsespätzle with roasted onions and fresh chives. Great. In the fall, when "steak weeks" are, Thomas Ruepp, the chef, adds a few more special cuts to the already sensational steak menu.
